Albert looked at her, a slight trace of surprise in his eyes. However, they softened, and a small smile pulled on his lips. He nodded a bit, not knowing what to say at first. "I love you too," he said gently.

Maddy brushed some hair that had fallen into her eyes, smiling when she heard him say it back to her. She paused then brought her lips to his for a moment.

William laughed. "Not only Doctor Who, but Invader Zim too? You're full of surprises," he told her with a grin. "But you're right - I wouldn't have guessed it, probably because you two don't look like sisters at all," he said, hoping it didn't sound too harsh. "And I wasn't that much of a drama..." he added.

Maya giggled. "I blame Maddy. She adores that show." She arched an eyebrow at him upon hearing him say that he didn't cause much drama. "You're kidding right? Thanks to your smooth dancing moves those two idiots almost broke up," she told him rolling her eyes slightly.

He smiled and pressed his lips against her, slowly kissing her under the stars.

Victor extended his hand to Ava. "Fancy a dance?" he asked. "Or do you need a couple more drinks in you before that happens?" he asked her, teasing slightly.

She chuckled a bit. "Well usually, I do need drinks to make me dance. But this one time..." she smiled, as she took his hand.

"This time you look so beautiful that you'll dazzle all the other dancers with said beauty as well as with your dancing," he told her with a smile. "Because as much as you protest, and as modest as you are, you're a good dancer."

Ava laughed a bit. "No, I'm not," she said, shaking her head. "Seriously." However, she walked by him on the dancefloor.

"The lady doth protest too much," he said as he put one of his hands on her waist, taking her hand in the other one. Fittingly enough it was a slow waltz and gently he pulled her closer to him as they began to dance, a slight smile lighting up his face as he looked into her eyes.

Ava put her free arm around his neck and looked up at him. She couldn't help smiling back as he stared back into her eyes. He was just breath-takingly good-looking that night...

Albert smiled and pressed his lips against hers, slowly kissing her under the stars. It was just so magical, so romantic, so...perfect.

As the song ended, Victor brought one of his hands to the back of Ava's neck, gently supporting it as he leaned in and kissed her. She looked so gorgeous tonight. He was having an amazing time with her today. He broke apart for a moment, looking into her eyes, a shy smile coming onto his lips for a moment, then gently kissed her again.

Ava smiled into the kiss, as one of her hands went up to his cheek.

His free hand went up and rested on top of hers as he continued to kiss her. A perfect night with a perfect lady.

When air become more than necessary, Ava broke the kiss. She looked up into his eyes, a sincere smile on her lips.

"Well, it's a very good show to adore," he told her with a smile. When she said that they'd almost broken up, William raised his hands in mock surrender. "Hey, I'm not to blame if her guy mis-read the situation and is generally over-protective," he told her. Then he fixed Maya with a curious look. "Was it really that bad?"

Maya sighed, taking a sip of her drink. "They got it sorted out eventually, and I think they're all lovey-dovey again, but yes, it was pretty bad. By the sounds of things he did over-react, especially when he refused to take Maddy's word that it was nothing, but on the other hand I can see why he did. Handsome guy like you in a tango with her? The situation's bound to be misinterpreted."

William pulled a face, taking a sip of his cocktail. "That's a bit insane. But I'm glad they sorted it out." He paused, then looked at her. "Wait, did you just call me handsome?" he asked with a slight smile, raising his eyebrow.
