Ava's eyes remained wide, as she looked down. She couldn't believe what he was saying and she hated being put in such situations.

He bit his lip, aware that he'd probably crossed some line that he shouldn't have. "Sorry," he murmured. "Forget I said anything..."

She looked up at him, slightly nodding. "Yeah," she murmured, looking back down at her hands.

Victor clapped his hands together once to clear the slightly awkward air around them, then smiled. "Well um I should probably go. My shift's about to start soon and it wouldn't be a very good look if I was late while having been in the hospital the whole time," he added with a slight grin. "So, you have your movies and such, and I'll be round later to check up on you," he told her, about to head out.

Ava nodded a bit with a smile. "Okay, sure," she said. When he was on the verge of leaving the room, she stopped him. "Dr.Hunt!" she called. "Thank you."

Victor stopped, and a smile lit up his face when she thanked him. "You're welcome," he told her, holding her gaze for a moment. I'll see you later..."

She nodded a bit. "Sure..."
