Amanda met up with her Sargent after the morning briefing, "Yes sir?" she asked, "First off: congratulations on your recent qualification." he said to her, Amanda nodded, at the same time, her Sargent brought a German Shepard over to her, Amanda looked at the dog, "Your new partner: Luke" the Sargent told Amanda, who nodded, she then took the leash and led Luke out of the building

London was walking up to the building, wanting to visit an old friend of hers when she saw Amanda and her new 'partner'.
"Ah, new partner, Corporal?" she asked, smiling a little.

Amanda looked up at London, "Yep, Det. Carter, meet Luke" she replied while petting Luke at the same time, Luke looked up at London, then at Amanda

"Hi Luke." London said, holding his hand out to him, so he could sniff at it. "Congrats to you."

Luke sniffed London's hand, then looked up at her and barked softly

London softly petted him and smiled a bit. "Nice guy, you are, huh?"

Luke wagged his tail, Amanda smiled a bit, "That he is, but when its time to work....bad guys better watch out." she said

London smiled and nodded. "You take good care of the nice woman handling you." she said to Luke, then looked at Amanda. "Bad guys better watch out when we come anyways." she said and winked.

Amanda smiled in reply, Luke barked in reply to London's comment

London smiled and looked at Luke.

Amanda pet his head, then spoke to him in German

London wasn't able to speak German, so she just waited to see what was going to happen now.

Luke stood up, his demeanor changed, "He's ready to go" Amanda said to London

"Alright. I should get going, gotta shift to start." London said and smiled.

Amanda nodded, then headed out with Luke

"See you around." London called after them, before she headed inside, not knowing that she would meet the two of them soon again.

Amanda nodded to her as she walked off the elevator, taking it down to the motor pool, once there, she walked over to her car and got Luke in the back, she then got in, started the car and headed out

Meanwhile London got to the crime lab and got ready for her shift.

Amanda was out on the street when a call came in about a suspect on the lose

London just started her shift, when she was informed about the suspect. The guy that was on the loose, belonged to her last case.

Amanda answered the call, then doubled back to the area he was last reported to be in

London got into the department SUV and drove over to the location as well.

once she got there, Amanda got out, then got Luke, who had his game face on

London arrived about 10 minutes later, seeing Amanda's petrol car, she smiled a bit.

Amanda was getting orders from her Sargent at this time, holding Luke close to her as she listened

London got out of the car, checked her gun and walked over to Amanda and Luke.

Amanda looked at London when the Sargent finished, "Welcome to the party" she said in a slight sarcastic tone

London smirked a bit in reply. "Well, let's have some fun, then."

Amanda nodded, "Sargent wants us to head up this way." she replied, pointing behind her

London nodded in agreement.
"I'll stay close."
