It was her first official visit for MDPD Crime Lab. She got that visitors pass and headed for elevator....

Ryan walked past reception noticing a familiar face.
"Hey Sam. Glad you came. I'm right off to lunch break." he told greeting her and hugging tightly. She smiled at him brightly and bit nervously.
He knew there will be a lot of questions to rise but honestly he didn't give a damn about their thoughts. Mich already knew but she was out on crime scene anyways

"Oh me too. Just little nervous. But this place is different. Glass. Sun. Beach. It makes it easier to be than there. Lighter." Sam told as they walked to elevator

"Oh my gosh, Samantinator? What the heck?" Michelle yelled casting more attention to their group

"Oh Chello! Nice to meet you too. By the way, I have decided to re-join the force but this time at forensic side." she hugged her friend

"REALLY? Oh my gosh that's awesome! Then I won't be only trainee here" Mich nearly jumped sky-high.
"When you're starting?"

"Hey hey, wait up. Not so fast. First I need to be accepted by the boss. But to do that I need to meet him. That's why I'm here." she explained as they entered the elevator and door closed

"Ahh. Ok ok." Michelle held her hands up in surrender and pushed their floor button.
"Ryan just don't pee yourself. That would be too humiliating" she added receiving pout from Sam. She winked in reply feeling Ryan's death glare stabbing her back.
But little did she knew what was going to happen...

"Hey hey, Chello, stop picking up on him." Samanta patted other girl on the shoulder while they were carried higher up

"Don't you mind shutting up already?" Ryan halted their rant nearly yelling out.

He felt like poking both girls with a broomstick

But they barely reached second floor when halfway to next elevator stopped abruptly, knocking them off feet, and the lights went out...

"Wow. What's up?" Mich chocked out slowly getting up from floor.
She felt slightly dizzy and according to slight pounding in her head she might've fallen off her feet and hit her head against the wall.

He felt tired and dizzy. His head felt like sledgehammer had bounced on it. It was pretty dark around but he wasn't sure. A choked moan escaped his lips when he tried to move

"Guys? What's going on?" Sam asked trying to adjust her sight. It was dark but one of the lamps was still trying to glow, though very weak.
She looked around seeing her friends on the floor. Mich seemed just slightly dazed but ok. Ryan looked far worse. It looked as if he had fell directly head first against the floor or first against the railing and then floor, according the blood spatter on the metal thingy.

"Sammy? You ok?" Mich asked hearing Sam speaking. It was a relief when she nodded. Michelle's eyes were adjusted already and now she was able to see Sam and Ryan. So far her friend seemed to be in best state. Obviously standing in the corner was best idea. Mich regretted standing against only one wall.
Looking at Ryan made her eyes widen. He had stood in the middle and had fell hitting his head right against metal railing. Now there was blood.
She quickly kneeled beside her brother and gently moved him. Seemed there weren't anything broken. She sighed in relief.
"Ryan! Brother wake up, please. You need to open those hazel depths for me." she gently nudged him.

"Argh." he mumbled in pain. Someone was poking him making his headache worse.
"Stop it." he croaked trying to raise his hand to stop the motion.
"It hurts"

Sam scrambled over to Ryan
"Ryan it's gonna be ok. Just open your eyes."

"OW!" Ryan screamed out in pain.
He coughed for a while making pain in his head unbearable.
"My head.. Oh my head" he mumbled

Sam got worried over her friend. He didn't look good but she was really determined to help whatever she could

"Wha..what happened?" Ryan barely managed choke out

"Don't worry just elevator crashed" Mich explained

Ryan was obviously speechless. Sam knew he feared heights and sometimes that included elevators too.
"It's ok Wolfie. Just look at me. I'm here darling. You don't need to fear" she tried to calm him down which seemed working.
"Mich, he doesn't look good. We need to get out."

"Agreed. I can only try to do some magic with cables but it's not promising enough. I think the elevator has separated power supply which seems to be cut off." Mich wondered.
"But I don't have enough stuff around." she looked in her pockets. She used to carry few things like some cables and tiny tools around but this time she was out of luck. Unless she could get her phone connected to main system

Ryan groaned once more trying to make a movement. It hurt as hell.
"How in the bloody world this happened?" he voiced his thoughts.
"I mean, come on, we're in crime lab, for godsakes." he couldn't wrap his mind about this irony.

"Ah you know Wolfie how things are doing in this world. One day you just end up in most impossible situation without any idea how you got there" Michelle simply explained trying to connect all the cables in sync

"Oh tell me 'bout it" Ryan growled

"Yeah yeah Wolfie." she brushed it off finally managing to finish her cable twingle

Ryan sighed all he could do was lying on this floor and try not to move

Sam rolled her eyes and sighed. This guy was just impossible. Wherever he goes the trouble follows

Ryan felt horrible. His head was killing him and he wasn't feeling quite good. He tried to ease his state thinking of something good
