I sat in front of the computer trying to see something in video footage from our latest case. My sister pointed that there had to be something in this video. But I start to consider it was just mockery of hers.
My eyes start crossing and vision blurrs. So damn boring. It's late and I'm yawning for millionth time already.
I close my eyes only for a second...

Natalia walked through the lab, not having anything to do tonight. She noticed Ryan sitting in the A/V lab and walked over.
"Hey... need some help?" she asked him.

A voice from behind suddenly brings me back to reality.
"Hey Nat, don't you have to be home already?" I try to hide my sleepiness. "Well I think another pair of fresh eyes won't hurt"
Another yawn brakes out.

Natalia smirks a little, seeing him yawn.
"How long are you working on this already?" she asked him as she walked over to him.

"Um... Two days maybe three..." I desperately try to look not too tired

Natalia nodded slightly.
"What are you looking for?"

"Uh... Not sure frankly. Mich said something but not exactly what. I'm feeling like sitting here for a week" I brush my face with my hand trying not to loose my fight with sleep. I can see a neat pile of coffee cups

Nat noticed as well.
"Go and get some sleep Ryan. I'll see if I can find something." Natalia said to her friend and co-worker.

"Nah, I can manage. Just gonna grab some more coffee" I bite in my tongue.
Damn, stuborn Wolfe, I cursed inwardly. Not even noticing my hands have started to reorganize some papers on desk

Natalia gives him a raised brow in return.
"You know... you're darn stubborn at times." she says with a smirk.

"Aha and you're not better yourself" I say grinning at her

Natalia chuckles a bit. "Learned from you, Ry." she retorts.

I chuckle.
"Yeah good old days. I'm going to get coffee so we can finish tonight, want too?" I ask hoping not to fall asleep while waiting for coffee.
My hand automatically slips into pocket and touches few caffeine pills I put there.
I sigh inwardly feeling my OCD waking up so I reach for another bottle of meds before my hands grabs sanitizer bottle

"Nah... I'd love to, but... am not allowed at the moement, thanks." she replies and watches him a moment.

"Ok. Whatever you say" he said trying to get a hold of his OCD fit. And then he realised something his brain nearly missed to process.
"Hey you said what? How come you're not allowed coffee? Is there something you're not telling me?" he said with a sheepish grin, partly trying to get a hold of his fuzzy brain and hide his issues like he did all the time

Natalia turned around and smiled a little, though she was a bit worried.
"Well, so far I didn't tell anyone, but yeah... I'm pregnant." she replied.

Ryan had to double check his if he's still awake by secretly poking himself "Wow wow. Seriously? Wow I'm surprised." he lost his thoughts for a second while his fuzzy brain tried to process the information.
"Congrats Nat. And who's the lucky one?" Ryan asked grinning, happy that they moved to different topic

Natalia smirked a bit, knowing Ryan was pretty tired.
"Still my hubby, James." she replied gently.

"Oh boy. I am tired. Sorry." Ryan mumbled blushing and rubbing his neck. Now he really needed something to wake him up or he'll end up saying something even more stupid.
"I... I better go... Coffee... Be right back..." he mumbled and slipped out of lab and hiding in locker room
I'm such an idiot. Ryan rubbed his face and went after coffee popping few pills...

Natalia shook her head when she watched him leave and looked at the screen. She knew he was tired.

Five minutes later he returned with a huge cup of fresh coffee, that didn't look like one in vending machine, and with fresh set of clothes, he put on after really quick shower. He looked incredibly fresh and suspiciously awake...

Natalia looked at him with a small smile.
"You look much better now." she said to him.

Ryan smiled at Nat "Thank you. Shower and coffee do miracles"
though he hoped he'll feel that way until the job is done, he knew the effect these pills have on him especially mixed with his other meds

"That they do." Natalia replied and nodded slightly, not really knowing he was taking meds at all.

Ryan smiled his mega watt smile looking almost glowing
" So, ready to watch some movies?" Ryan asked winking at Nat.
For some reason he felt so light and in a good mood completely forgetting about the meds in his lab coat pocket that now lied completely forgotten..

Natalia replied his smile and nodded.
"Sure. Got nothing else on my mind." she replied.

Michelle walked past A/V lab when noticed Ryan and Natalia. She stood outside, hidden in shadows of a dim litted lab hallway. It was very late, almost morning. She was surprised Ryan was still there. Then she remembered the video.
Oh dear, the video. Oh shit. she noticed how "shiny" her brother was acting.
She really wanted to leave them but now she had to get in and help.

"Hey guys. Need a hand? Or better another pair of eyes?" Michelle walked in cheerfully

Natalia looked at Michelle with a small nod and smile.
"Sure. What do you think, Ryan?" she asked.

"Yo sis. Always on time." Ryan mumbled trying to look busy.
"Dunno Nat. Maybe. Or we can send her after coffee and snacks?" he replied Nat, still grinning his megawatt smile, ignoring Michelle's famous death glare

Natalia giggled a little.
"Nah, that'll be mean." she replied, also ignoring the glare, since she's known the siblings for a while now.
